The race for Montgomery County Treasurer has two candidates that will not fact a challenger in the primary.
Democrat Jason Salus, the incumbent, is running again.
Republican Tim Mahon is a first time candidate for elective office.
As many of you know, Salus and MoreThanTheCurve.com have a history (read here).
A few weeks ago we received a phone call from someone who told us that the Republicans had a candidate running against Salus. We asked who and were shocked when we heard the name.
We have a history, a much different history, with the other candidate. Tim Mahon was our fraternity big brother at Saint Joseph’s University.
However, we haven’t seen or spoken with one another since about 1993.
So this race just got interesting.
