The Borough of Conshohocken is anticipating a snow emergency in the Borough starting sometime Thursday. On its Facebook page, the Borough posted the following:
A snow emergency is anticipated for the Borough of Conshohocken based upon current weather predictions. The Borough website and social media pages will be updated upon confirmation of a snow emergency.
Borough residents are reminded that the owners or occupants of all property in the Borough are required to clear ice and snow from their sidewalks within 24 hours of the end of the snowfall. Please do not deposit snow in the street.
If a fire hydrant is located on or near your property, please consider clearing any snow that has accumulated around the hydrant so that firefighters are able to access it in an emergency.
During a snow event, trash may not be collected so that the Public Works Department may concentrate on removal of ice and snow from the streets, inlets and Borough owned property. Please do not place trash and recyclables out for collection during a Snow Emergency. Trash collection will resume on your next regularly scheduled trash day.
Parking along designated Snow Emergency Routes is prohibited once a snow emergency has been declared so that plowing operations can be completed. Please remove all vehicles from designated Snow Emergency Routes:
Fayette Street
Eastbound and Westbound
Matsonford Bridge to Borough line
Freedly Street (east side)
Southbound
Twelfth Avenue to alley north of Eleventh Avenue
Poplar Street

Elm Street and Washington Street
Your compliance and cooperation with these regulations will permit Borough crews to safely clear the streets. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
