What Are With the Paint Marks All Over the Recently Repaved Maple Street

You may have noticed that the newly repaved Maple Street was marked with paint, which usually indicates some type of work is about to happen. We received several messages from readers asking why work would be done after the street was just repaved. We asked this of new Borough Manager Richard Manfredi and he responded:

The sewer authority had planned to make lateral repairs in the street, but, had, as a result of our objections, decided not to move forward with those repairs.

I think the “had” was meant to be “has.” Either way, there seems to be a lack of communication between the municipal, utility and state entities operating in Conshohocken. This happened before, as this article from Patch outlines.
