Two local restaurants, Baggataway Tavern and Southern Cross Kitchen, have entered burgers into Philadelphia Magazine’s Battle of the Burger contest. Voting starts today. Here are the two local burgers:
Bleu Cheese and Onion Burger – fresh ground beef, Glenview Farms Bleu Cheese, sautéed onions on a toasted country bun from Le Bus bakery
Southern Cross Kitchen
Southern Burger Burger – andouille sausage, pecan, and ground beef. Toppings – gruyere cheese, fried pickles, cripsy bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, spicy sriracha dijonaise
