36,000 Verizon workers across the country went on strike on Wednesday, April 13th. The unions that called the strike are the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. These unions represent employees with jobs as customer services representatives and network technicians.
Strike locations include the Verizon facility on North Lane near the intersection with Butler Pike. There were about a couple dozens strikers when we drove by.
Someone buy these guys an inflatable rat. It isn’t really a strike without it.
