The Borough of Conshohocen announced today that the updated playground at Mary Wood Park are almost complete. Expect the playground to reopen within the next two weeks (weather permitting).
From the announcement:
Once complete, Mary Wood Park will have all new playground equipment and safety surfacing. The playground will include handicap accessible swings that fulfill ADA safety requirements, and three different children areas suitable for children, ages six months to 12 years old. A new zip line feature will also be added to the park, which can be safely used by children ages five to 12 years old!
The Borough will be installing a new fence that will be placed along Hallowell Street for added safety. Finally, Mary Wood Park will contain a new pavilion perfect for events, programs and rentals. The pavilion will see its first use this August during the Borough’s Rockin’ Conshohocken Summer Concert Series!
The playground closed in February for renovations.
