Update on the Office Building at West Elm and Fayette

There was an article earlier this week on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s website that shed more light on the plans for the 300,000 square foot office building planned for West Elm and Corson. This office building replaces the previously approved apartments that were originally the developer’s plan for the property.

Here are two things we learned:

  • The developer does not have a tenant and will not construct the building until it does
  • The developer is marketing the building to potential tenants that will have their current leases end in 2018 or 2019

So this building isn’t going to go up anytime soon. Stay tuned.
