Update and Schedule on Park Improvements in Conshohocken

The Borough of Conshohocken is upgrading its parks and MoreThanTheCurve.com has been getting a lot of questions about the timing. Before we had the chance to ask the Borough, it sent out a press release with the details. All of the below projects are slated to begin today and should be completed by the end of the month. Below are the three current projects:

Sutcliffe Park:
Sutcliffe Park, located between West 7th Avenue and West 10th Avenue from Wood Street to Colwell Lane, will have new playground equipment installed, along with new playground safety surfaces in the area just west of the basketball courts and around the pavilion.

2nd Avenue Meadows:
The 2nd Avenue Meadows, located at the dead end of West 2nd Avenue off of Maple Street between West 2nd Avenue and West 3rd Avenue, will also have new playground equipment and safety surfaces installed along the top of the streambank across from the new 212 Wood Street development.

The “A” – Field:
The “A” – Field (A.A. Garthwaite Stadium), located between East 11th Avenue and East 12th Avenue from Harry Street to Hallowell Street, will have a new walking/jogging track constructed around the existing football field. The new jogging track will be topped with a low impact, joint friendly rubber surface.

There you have it.
