We were driving around yesterday and noticed that a lot of trees surrounding Sherry Lake on the Cedar Grove Road side of the lake had been cleared. Not exactly sure when it happened, but it was new to us.
With the trees in place, you could drive by the lake and never know it was there.
If you want to know the lake’s history, the Conshohocken Historical Society provided us an article in 2016. The lake, a former quarry, use to be used for movies, ice skating, swimming and more. Read the article here.
