Chef Michael Cappon of Isabella is showcasing summer’s freshest produce with his Totally Tomato Menu featuring locally sourced heirloom and roma tomatoes. Cappon’s returned to Isabella last month and has broadened the scope of the Spanish inspired menu by exploring more Mediterranean flavors. New dishes include Grilled Local Corn ($7) chili saffron creme and toasted shallots; Seared Scallops ($12) local creamed corn, chili dusted pistachios and crispy basil; Chicken Milanese ($19) hand breaded local chicken, with a melted fennel and tomato salad and organic faro; Sautéed Shrimp & Scallop ($23) basil, lemon, fresh garlic, butter, fresh peas, wild mushrooms and house made chestnut linguini.
