The StoneRose has partnered with Ft. Washington winery Karamoor Estate to create a special, custom blend just for their customers. The wine is provided to The StoneRose in kegs, which is possible because Barrel Wine has recently legalized in Pennsylvania. The StoneRose is one of the first restaurants in the Philadelphia area to serve Barrel Wine.
The custom blend served at The StoneRose is a 2011 blend consisting of 80% Petite Verdot and 20% Merlot. It is medium bodied, well balanced, and a great summer wine.
