State Rep. Mary Jo Daley to Hold Town Halls in Conshy and Whitemarsh

State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, announced she will hold four town hall meetings across the 148th District (that is you Conshohocken and Whitemarsh) to discuss important legislative issues and trade information and perspectives with constituents.

“Part of my job as state representative is to keep people informed,” Daley said. “These town halls provide the perfect setting to let me update them on the legislative process, to let them know what I am working on in Harrisburg, and for me to obtain vital feedback on what issues are important to my constituents.”

Daley plans to discuss the proposed state budget, liquor privatization and education funding, among other important issues.  If you are concerned about traffic in and out of Conshy and Whitemarsh, this is an opportunity to ask a state level official about funding whatever needs to be done to solve the problem.  The two local ones are:

  • 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 — Conshohocken Free Library, 301 Fayette St., Conshohocken.
  • 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 — Whitemarsh Township Building, 616 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill.

Daley said she urged all constituents to attend, because of the importance of face-to-face communication in providing good government.

“The best way that I can represent the 148th District is by hearing the concerns of constituents, and I look forward to the opportunity to share that dialogue,” Daley said. “Please mark your calendars and plan to attend one of these meetings.”
