Brixmor, the owner of the Whitemarsh Shopping Center at the intersection of Ridge and Butler pikes in Conshohocken (Whitemarsh Township) has filed a zoning application that seeks a special exception to allow a restaurant at the shopping center. The application will likely be reviewed by the township’s planning commission in July for a recommendation and then it will move to the zoning hearing board which will make the final determination.
The restaurant is Mezeh, a fast-casual Mediterranean grill that currently has locations in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. The first location in Pennsylvania will be in King of Prussia, which is currently listed as “coming soon.”
The menu allows you to make your own bowl, flatbread wrap, or pita pocket by selecting between seven proteins, 30 toppings, and 10 sauces.
If approved, the restaurant would fill the third and final space within the new building constructed at the shopping center. AFC Urgent Care and Orangetheory Fitness are already open in the new building.
