Since everyone is asking, here is what we know about tonight’s fireworks

We are getting a lot of questions about the fireworks scheduled for Conshohocken tonight (July 3rd) at approximately 9:30 p.m. Here is what we know.

The Borough of Conshohocken is holding a meeting with its staff and first responders at 5:00 p.m. This was previously scheduled and not specific to today’s weather.

The weather is expected to improve as it gets closer to 9:30 p.m. Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the forecast from Weather.com calls for thunderstorms and scattered thunderstorms. Starting at 8:00 p.m. it moves to partly cloudy. The chance for rain declines from 76% at 6:00 p.m. to 17% at 8:00 p.m.

The Borough of Conshohocken hasn’t made any social media, website, or email statements today (as of 3:50 p.m.) about the fireworks. According to a source, there hasn’t been any chatter about canceling.

The thing that does concern us is that the Borough of Conshohocken hasn’t released any type of information directing those planning to visit the borough for the fireworks on where to park, what streets are closed if any, locations of public bathrooms, and suggested places the public can gather for a good view.

If anything changes, we will provide an update as soon as we know.
