Sewer Work May Cause Lane Closures at West Elm and Colwell Lane Throughout August

According to a notice from the Borough of Conshohocken, the Borough of Conshohocken Authority is expected to begin work on their interceptor rehabilitation project on Tuesday, August 7th.

The notice states:

The project will consist of installing a liner inside of the existing sanitary sewer mains. Work will be conducted in the area of Colwell Lane to West Elm Street through the parking lot of the Grande. The project will not include excavation of the roadways, but may result in lane closures. No full road closures are expected during work. Please see the image below for the approximate dates and location of the construction schedule.

Its hard to read, but on the map there is a list of steps that outline dates that extend to a Step 3 beginning on August 22nd/23rd. For some reason it shows Step 4 as beginning first on August 7th. Step 3 and 4 are referred to as “night work”.
