SEPTA Planning Improvements for Conshohocken Station

SEPTA is planning to make some improvements to the rail station in Conshohocken. We are not exactly sure what, but there is a page on the SEPTA website with a time line and the budget. Based on what information is provided on the webpage, the budget is $15 million, the design will start in the winter of 2017, construction will start in the winter of 2019 and the project will be completed by the fall of 2020.

This improvement would be in addition to this grant provided to O’Neill Properties by the state to add parking and make other improvements along Washington Street.

If this type of thing interests you, here is a vision plan for the Conshohocken Rail Station. The actual improvements being made, do not appear to be as aggressive as those presented in this plan.
