Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Conshohocken postponed until March 28th

MoreThanTheCurve.com has been shown a message from one of the local firehouses that informed its members that the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Conshohocken has been tentatively postponed until March 28th. The parade was to be held on Saturday, March 14th. The reason for the postponement is the Coronavirus.

Update – The Borough of Conshohocken just made the official announcement:

Due to evolving health concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Borough of Conshohocken, in conjunction with the Montgomery County AOH St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, has determined that it is in the best interest of public safety to postpone the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, scheduled for this Saturday, March 14th.

This decision was made with the health and safety of residents, businesses and visitors in mind and based off recommendations from Montgomery County Public Health Officials, which advises individuals to avoid large public gathers and social events.

The postponement date for the parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th. We will continue to monitor the situation concerning COVID-19 and will announce any further decisions pertaining to the parade on the Borough’s website and social media outlets as we get closer to that date.
