State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, invites seniors and their families to her 2nd Annual Senior Fair, being held on June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s East Cafeteria.
Daley said the fair will offer information on health care, the state Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, volunteer opportunities, prescription-drug plans, finding unclaimed property and more. Attendees can also avail themselves of free health care screenings and refreshments, and be eligible for giveaways and door prizes.
More than 50 vendors will be on hand, Daley said, including chair massage technicians from Independence Blue Cross and employees of Mercy Suburban Hospital who will offer free blood pressure screenings.
“We hope to build on the success of last year’s Senior Fair, and I strongly encourage all seniors and their families to participate on June 20,” Daley said. “They can conveniently learn about a host of state programs, while getting free preliminary health tests and vital information.”
Parking for the event will be available in the Colonial Drive lot, Daley added.
