Last night Plymouth Township’s Council held a conditional use hearing involving a proposed CVS at the corner of Plymouth Road and Butler Pike (the undeveloped corner adjacent to the new apartments). From the Times Herald:
In other business, council held a conditional use hearing for the proposed 14,600-square-foot CVS Pharmacy in the Cold Point Village development with a drive-thru lane at 2400 Butler Pike. The pharmacy project includes 74 parking spaces and will have driveway entrances on Plymouth Road and Butler Pike. Though total square footage for all the requested signs is 176 square feet, the total allowed for the signs is 252 square feet.
Once an item is tabled, Plymouth’s Council has 45 days to vote. Note that this request just involved proposed signage, it was not an overall approval. The project still needs to go before Plymouth’s Planning Agency and the eventually to Plymouth’s Council for final approval or denial.
If approved, this would be the fourth CVS in the seven mile between Conshohocken and Ambler’s downtown. There is one in downtown Conshohocken, one just outside downtown Ambler and one at the corner of Butler and Skippack Pikes.
