The Plymouth Township Police Department and the FBI are asking for the public’s help to identify and track down two suspects involved in an armed bank robbery on September 3rd. The bank involved is the TD Bank at 550 West Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting. We actually drove by right when the police were arriving. Here is the statement from the police department:
At approximately 2:52 p.m. on September 3, 2016, the two subjects entered the bank. Subject #1 presented a demand note to a teller; soon thereafter, he vaulted the bank counter and brandished a handgun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subjects fled the area of the bank.
Subject #2 is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build. He wore a maroon hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a tan cap.
These subjects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this armed robbery or these subjects is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Plymouth Township Police Department at 610-279-1901.
