PECO Work on Hector Street to Now Start in September

Remember this story on how PECO needed to shut down Hector Street starting this past July for a couple months?  Well that never happened.  PECO is still planning to replace a gas main, but this time it will be a flagging job and Hector won’t be shut down during the day.  From the Whitemarsh Township website:

Construction to replace the gas main. Peco will be conducting road work on Hector Street from Mid-September to mid-December. This will be a flagging job and the road will remain open. PECO advised that they will do their best to adhere to the 9 am -3 pm time frame; however, there will be times where they may need to go past the 1500 hour. Depending on the progress they may be doing work on Saturdays.
