PECO Energy will close Hector Street between Apple Street and Lime Street in Conshohocken Borough and Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, July 22 for gas main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The weekday closure will be in effect through the beginning of October.
During construction, Hector Street through traffic will be detoured over Fayette Street/Butler Pike and North Lane. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The construction schedule is contingent on the weather. PECO Energy will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
