The Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) will have overnight lane closures in both directions between the U.S. 202 and U.S. 1 (City Avenue) interchanges from Sunday, April 8th through Thursday, April 12th, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The closure is to allow for drainage work and other construction activities under a project to repair and resurface 12.5 miles of the expressway in Upper Merion Township, West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when traveling on I-76 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
