As we reported last week, the Conshohocken Rowing Center is about to be constructed behind the Riverwalk Apartments on Washington Street.  There is an opportunity for 40 Conshy youth, 7th grade or higher, to take part in a free week-long clinic during August.  The camp will be run by Malvern Prep’s rowing coach, Craig Hoffman, who is one of the top rowing coaches in the country.

The program is open to those with little or no experience.  The camp is designed to teach and advance each rower’s individual technical skills.  In addition to signing some waivers and being healthy, the participants need to know how to swim.
