Norwegian Spruce Planted in Mary Wood Park to Serve as Borough’s Christmas Tree

This morning the Borough of Conshohocken planted a 15-foot Norwegian spruce tree at at the Mary H. Wood Park House. The tree replaces one that was removed from the park this past summer and was placed in a location that will allow it to be used for future Christmas tree lighting events.

Conshohocken Borough Council recently approved the sale of Leeland Mansion, which has been the site of the Borough’s Christmas tree lighting event in recent years. It has not yet been announced yet where the event will be held this year.
