As you may remember, earlier in the week the west side of Fayette Street lost water for a few hours. Residents and businesses today found a door hanger from AQUA informing them that the west side is going to lose water tonight starting at 9:00 p.m.  The water outage is expected to end at 4:00 a.m.

A representative from AQUA said there is a problem valve in the area that needs to be fixed.  The door hanger provides some information on how the water may look brownish after the outage and how to make sure your water is safe.

Not sure about the exact area that will be without water, but two businesses on the opposite ends of the west side of town received the notice.  So it is a large area.
