Last week when Brian Pieri was departing for Italy, he texted us and said he wanted to make the announcement regarding the name for his new restaurant while he was in the town that the restaurant would be named after. We suggested he take a few photos in front of a town sign and send them our way when he was ready. Today we received the above photos and the below message with the announcement:
Hey Guys, we’ve settled on a target opening the 3rd week of August. In Lucca, Italy now, where my family is
from/resides finalizing details. “Bar Lucca” will be an open air rustic Italian restaurant featuring homemade
pastas, a traditionally made brick oven for pizza and meats, artisan breads and an adventurous, but simple,
Bar Lucca will be opening in the space formally occupied, for several decades, by Totaro’s, which help launch the dining scene in Conshy. Stay tuned for more details about the menu and the opening.
