Brian Pieri, the owner of The StoneRose, has opened Bar Lucca on Hector Street. Last Thursday there was an opening party and the restaurant was open over the weekend for dinner. This week they will offer dinner service and lunch will be introduced on September 23rd. Bar Lucca promises rustic Italian with authentic wood fired pizzas, homemade pastas, and an adventurous wine and craft beer menu. You can view the menu by clicking here.
Bar Lucca fills the space formally occupied by Totaro’s, the landmark bar and restaurant that was open for five decades. The building went through a major renovation over several months and now features a patio for outside dining.
