The Main Line Toastmasters hold their monthly meetings at The Great American Pub on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The meetings offer a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a fun, supportive, and no-pressure atmosphere.
There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, everyone learns from each other by evaluating each other’s presentations. This constructive feedback is a key part of the club’s success. Members also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to proper grammar, impactful delivery, and public speaking etiquette.
The cost to join Toastmasters i $48.00 every six months and members pay $5.00 per meeting to cover the room charge and educational materials.
Meetings are free for first-time and second-time guests. Members pay only $5 per meeting to cover the room charge and the costs of educational materials.
