Conshohocken United Methodist Church will have a live nativity from December 20th to 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Christmas Eve from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. While the live nativity is happening, you will also have the opportunity to go inside and check out the new cafe, Jillian’s Cafe, the church has almost completed. The cafe is meant to be a venue for the members of the church and the community to come together.
The cafe is named for a special needs child and member of the church who passed away. Jillian’s parents have headed up this project. Jillian loved coffee, art and music and church plans to use the cafe to host those type of events.
In addition to the live nativity on Christmas Eve, there will be a concert in the church from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., which will be followed by a service.
Stay tuned for more details on Jillian’s Cafe as it gets closer to its formal opening in 2014.
