Leaf collection in Whitemarsh Township started back on October 20th. If you aren’t sure what to do, below is instructions from the township’s website:
Every fall, the Township Public Works Department provides leaf collection service to the residents of the Township. For 2014, the fall leaf collection begins on Monday, October 20 and will continue until Monday, December 22. The Township Public Works Department will make every effort to collect from each street at least once per week. All leaves for last pick up must be piled out on the streets by 6:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22.
Residents are asked to pile the leaves onto the curb for the Township Public Works Department to collect – leaves are not to be bagged.
It is unlawful to burn leaves, cuttings, grass or trash in Whitemarsh Township.
