Latest information from Montgomery County on the Coronavirus

Montgomery County officials announced today that there are 100 new cases of Coronavirus in the county. That brings the total to 1,502 total cases in the county. There were also six additional deaths.

In an update in regards to the testing site at Temple’s Ambler campus, it was damaged today during the storm and had to be closed. It was to close permanently tomorrow, but it was announced that the federal government had decided to continue to support the program and it will be moved to Montgomery County Community College. It will now operate through the end of May.

Locally, the numbers are as follows:

  • Conshohocken is at 11 cases, which is the same as yesterday
  • Whitemarsh is at 41 cases, which is two more than yesterday
  • Plymouth is at 38 cases, which is three more than yesterday
  • West Conshohocken continues to have zero cases
