Largest Proposed Office Building and New Plan for Casmar Cafe Before the Zoning Hearing Board on June 2nd

Tonight (Monday, June 2nd) the Zoning Hearing Board has three issues before it. The first involves a new sign at Conshohocken Physical Therapy. The second is the plan to rehab what is currently the Casmar Cafe and create Jasper’s Backyard and the third is a switch from an approved apartment community at West Elm and Corson to a a proposed office building.

The proposed office building at West Elm and Corson would be 324,860 square feet, which would make it the largest office building among all that are recently approved and/or proposed. All together, there is over a million square feet in office space at some stage of approved/waiting to be built or seeking approval.

The individual hearings are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (Conshohocken Physical Therapy), 7:30 p.m. (Casmar/Jasper’s) and at 8:00 p.m. (office building). The hearings will take place at Old Borough Hall at West 8th and Fayette.  They are open to the public.
