We, the King of Prussia Sport & Social Club and MoreThanTheCurve.com, decided that the format for the Backyard Games, as originally proposed, was to confusing so we have simplified it. The games will now feature individual tournaments for kickball, wiffleball and cornhole. All will be held at the Plymouth Swim Club, which is behind the Target off Chemical Road.
After the games, you have the option hang around for the MoreThanTheCurve.com Summer Kick-Off & Reggae Jam from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be three pools, live reggae, locker rooms and you can bring your own beer. Tickets are $20 and participants in the Backyard Games are eligible for a discount.
Below are the details for each specific tournament and how to register:
1) Kickball Tournament (9 a.m. to Noon)
- 8 to 12 people on a team (minimum of 3 females)
- $20/person or $200/team
- You get: minimum of two games, a t-shirt, and a $5 discount code to the Pool Party following
- Games are 5 innings
- Normal kickball rules
- Prizes for the winners (TBD).

2) Wiffleball Tournament (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- 4 to 6 people on a team (guys and/or gals)
- $20/person or $100/team
- You get: minimum of two games, a t-shirt, and a $5 discount code to the Pool Party following
- Rules:
- There is no running
- There will be a marked line for a single, double, triple, and home run
- Outs are made via: strike out, pop out, or if the ball is stopped prior to the singles line
- There will be a basket behind home plate to determine balls and strikes
- No maximum pitch speed.

3) Cornhole Tournament(Noon to 2 p.m.)
- 2 to 4 people on a team (guys and/or gals)
- $20/person or $50/team
- You get: minimum of two games, a t-shirt, and a $5 discount code to the Pool Party following
- Best of three games, up to 21
- Normal cornhole rules
- Prizes for the winners (working on this).
