Conshy-based comic, Sidney Gantt, has reached the semifinals of Helium Comedy Club’s Philly Phunniest Person competition.  Gantt is known locally as the host of the Captain Action Comedy Show held the last Saturday of each month at the Conshohocken Cafe.

Gantt is also appearing in the premiere episode of Raw Reality with Gail Casper tonight (Wednesday, August 14th) at midnight.  You can find the show on Comcast Xfinity – HD Ch. 794/SD Ch. 21, Verizon FiOS – CH. 19, DIRECTV- CH. 44 and DISH Network – CH. 44.

Gantt’s semifinal performance for Philly’s Phunniest will be on Tuesday, August 27th.

The next Captain Action Comedy Show at the Conshohocken Cafe is on Saturday, August 31st.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are $25.00 and includes dinner and the show.  The cafe is a BYOB.
