Sol Yoga Studio is holding two, two hour workshops that discusses the science, philosophy and practical applications of meditation. Participants will be given the tools needed to establish the groundwork for a sustainable home practice. This program introduces you to several major meditation techniques from the yogic and Buddhist traditions, including:
* Meditation on the breath
* Mantra Meditation
* Loving-kindness meditation
Participants will be introduced to those above meditation practices and the principles on which they are based. There will be periods of silent sitting and walking meditation, as well as discussions. This workshop will provide a foundation to apply meditation and mindfulness practices into your daily life. Space is limited.
The cost is $25.00. There are two dates:
Wednesday, July 13th | 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 24th | 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
