If you saw our Facebook post, we don’t know all the details about the incident that took place this morning near East 9th and Hallowell. Here is what we have learned from sources thus far:

• It involved two people, one allegedly stabbed the other
• One person died and one person was taken to the hospital
• The call to emergency responders came in between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• There are three houses with police tape blocking them off, so we are not sure which house was involved
• A vehicle from the District Attorney is on the scene

When we arrived at the scene at approximately 9:30 a.m. the police officer stationed there asked us to delay publishing the photos of the house(s), because they were trying to notify relatives. So we will publish the photos at noon.
