How to Get on the Borough’s No Solicitation List

Last night there was a lively discussion on MoreThanTheCurve.com’s Facebook page about the recent surge of energy companies going door to door trying to sell their service. There standard procedure is to ask to see your PECO bill, so they can tell you how they can save you money.

Councilman Matt Ryan (D, 5th Ward) commented that the Borough has a no solicitation list that residents can be included on.  I emailed Borough Manager Fran Marabella this morning about how to get on the list and replied that residents need to, “notify the Borough Office and we add your address to the list which we give to every company that applies for a soliciting permit.”

The Borough Office is located at 1 West First Avenue on the 2nd floor or if you have further questions you can call them at (610) 828-1092.
