The Washington Fire Company No. 1 and the Conshohocken Mayor’s Special Events Committee are holding a ground breaking for the September 11th Monument on Wednesday, September 11th at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Fire Company No. 1. The time is approximate because there is ceremony in West Conshohocken earlier in the evening.
The Washington Fire Company No. 1 was presented with a salvaged steel relic (pictured above) from the World Trade Center Towers. The committee is selling pavers ranging from $100.00 to $300.00, steps of the monument for $200.00 and wall caps for $1000.00.
