West Conshohocken’s Alexandra Frazier is competing in the United States Golf Association’s Senior Women’s Amateur Championship starting this weekend at the CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, California. Frazier made it to the final in 2010.
Frazier’s tee’s off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (PDT). According to the USGA, The USGA Senior Women’s Amateur consists of 36 holes of stroke play on September 21st and 22nd, after which the field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. There will be six rounds of match play, starting September 23rd. The quarterfinals and semifinals are slated for September 25th. The championship is scheduled to conclude with an 18-hole final on Thursday, September 26th at 8:00 a.m. (PDT)
