There has been a lot of talk about door-to-door sales people recently. One type of organization that is exempt from needing a permit to go door-to-door is a political party.

On Saturday, July 7th the local Democrats are planning to go door-to-door in Conshohocken. Scheduled for 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the “Conshohocken Canvass” is billed as “Speaking to our neighbors at their doors about the Democratic ticket!”

There aren’t any Borough-level elections this cycle, so they will likely be looking to talk about the races for Governor, the Senate and the House of Representatives.
