Fourth of July Celebrations in the Area

Borough of Conshohocken
Conshohocken holds its annual 4th of July celebration on July 3rd. Fireworks start at dusk and there are children’s games, picnic foods and DJ Entertainment held prior. If you have looked at the weather for July 3rd, it doesn’t look good (80% chance of rain that evening). We called the Borough’s office and the decision to hold them or not hold them won’t be determined to that evening. There is no planned rain date.

The annual Soap Box Derby in Conshohocken is held on Friday, July 4th from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The starting line is on the 800 block of Fayette Street.

Also on July 4th, VFW post 1074 is holding a Let Freedom Ring Celebration Cookout from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The community is invited to attend. There will be free food and beverages, music, games, 50/50 and raffles, including Phillies tickets, an overnight stay at the Marriott and much,much more. After the party there will be karaoke to continue the fun.

Whitemarsh Township
Whitemarsh is having a parade along Germantown Pike from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 4th. No cars, including residential homes along Germantown Pike) will be allowed on Germantown Pike during the parade. The parade route (Barre Hill Fire Company to Miles Park) will close at 9:45 a.m.
