At last week’s Borough Council meeting there was a hearing for a proposed apartment community at 51 Washington Street. The developer is O’Neill Properties. As proposed the community would have 310 units.

The look of the community is different from others built by O’Neill Properties in Conshy. It is close to the bridge and was designed to have a more industrial look to it. There were some questions regarding the design and some technical matters, but nothing to exciting.
O’Neill is seeking some conditional uses to start to move forward with the project. The vote to provide these conditional uses will take place in January.
