As we have reported, Whitemarsh Township scheduled a vote for December 1st on adopting a new fire services plan that would effectively close the Lincoln Fire Company. The new plan utilizes the services of the township’s two other fire companies, Barren Hill Fire Company and Spring Mill Fire Company, plus fire companies from outside the township.
