  4. Children in 1st through 5th grade are invited to join us at the Library to play chess with other children. We will have some chess sets available, but if you have one at home, please bring it along. Our volunteer, Joe Fox, will not be available this evening, but will be back in August! Library staff will facilitate this month, and parents/caregivers will be required to remain in the Library building throughout the program. Please note that this program is intended for children who already know how to play chess. It is not an instructional class, but rather an informal gathering to provide young chess players with the opportunity to play with other kids. Registration is required, but is not yet open for this month.
