The Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library are holding their FALL 2023 Used Book Sale on Saturday, October 7 from 10am to 1pm and Sunday, October 8 from 1pm - 3pm. This sale will feature offerings for Adults, Teens, and Children with a large variety of hardbacks, paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction and a broad selection including arts, sports, self-improvement and cookbooks. There will also be the ever-popular "Book Bundles" for Adults, Children and Teens. DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs and 'Books on CD' are being offered for only 50¢ and patrons can cart away all of their treasures in a Friends' book bag for just $10. This is a great opportunity for teachers to add to their classroom libraries! This sale is 'Cash Only'. Please, do not call the library to ask about items as this sale is organized by the Friends of the Library volunteer group. The used book sale is being held on both the 1st Floor in the Willaman Community Commons and on the Upper Level of the library near the board room. The William Jeanes Memorial Library is located at 4051 Joshua Road in Lafayette Hill, PA. All proceeds enable the Friends of the Library to support enhanced library programs and services, including membership passes! The Friends ask that the public please drop off donations by Friday, September 22, as they will not be accepting book donations September 23 through October 15. The Friends will resume accepting book donations on Monday, October 16.
