Residents of Inside Out communities (this includes Conshohocken) past and present get free admission at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from October 13-15. Enjoy these special Inside Out programs as we celebrate art in unexpected places. Friday, Oct 13, 5:00–8:45 p.m. Friday Nights: Hot Club of Philadelphia Hailing from Inside Out community Glenside, Hot Club of Philadelphia take over the Great Stair Hall with their brand of gypsy jazz and swing. Friday, Oct. 13 6:30–7:30 p.m. The Mad Poets Society Reading Join the Mad Poets Society for performances of poetry inspired by Inside Out artworks. A short discussion about the works follows the readings. Saturday, Oct. 14 1:00–3:00 p.m. Inside Out in the Prints, Drawings and Photographs Study Room Visit the Prints, Drawings, and Photographs Study Room to see four of the original works that are replicated for Inside Out. Tyler Shine, Dr. Constance Clayton Fellow, and Eileen Owens, Suzanne Andree Curatorial Fellow, will be present to answer questions and share more information on the artworks.
