In 1698, Edward Farmar donated land and built a log cabin for the purposes of a church. For 325 years, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, Whitemarsh, has supported the community’s spiritual and social needs. Edward Farmer's descendant, Philip Alan Farmer, a historian and author of Edward Farmar and the Sons of Whitemarsh, will be discussing his ancestors on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m. at McCausland Chapel at St. Thomas Church. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to StThomasWhitemarsh325@gmail.com.
