Event – Mother’s Day at Southern Cross Kitchen

Mother’s Day at Southern Cross Kitchen starts with their a la carte brunch menu offered from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  In the evening, guests can enjoy the popular Three Times The Charm Menu for dinner.  This menu offers a choice of three courses for $30.00 (plus tax and gratuity). Southern Cross’ a la carte dinner menu will also be served from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Three Time’s The Charm Menu

First course (choose one)
Fried Green Tomatoes, goat cheese,with roasted red pepper coulis

House Salad, romaine, carrots, tomato and croutons in a blue cheese, red wine vinaigrette

Fried Pickles, green goddess dressing

North Carolina Pulled Pork Sliders topped with creamy cole slaw

Mussels and Andouille Sausage sautéed with potatoes and tomatoes in a garlic white wine sauce

Second course (choose one)
Shrimp and Grits, jumbo shrimp, peppers and onions sautéed with cream over goat cheese

Mac and Cheese, cheddar, asiago, goat and parmesan cheese topped with a parmesan crust

Fried Buttermilk Chicken, braised collard green and buttermilk mashed potatoes

Cornmeal Crusted or Blackened Catfish, spicy remoulade sauce,collard Greens and buttermilk mashed potatoes

Chicken Jambalaya, a creole classic with chicken, andouille sausage, rice and vegetables in a spicy red sauce

Choose one fresh homemade dessert including Key Lime Pie, Pecan Pie and many more!
