Donetsk Ballet and Students Performing The Nutcracker this Weekend at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School

The Donetsk Ballet Company, along with area students, will be performing the “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. The ballet company is from the Ukraine. The website describes the performance as follows:

Eighteen professional dancers from the Donetsk Ballet Company will grace the stage with 45 area students who will dance the children’s parts in the holiday favorite, “The Nutcracker.” Led by former superstar, Vadim Pisarev, Artistic Director, the company dazzles audiences throughout the world with their impeccable technique and artistry. There are only two shows. The troupe will be returning to the Philadelphia area despite a raging war in their city and country.
